DescriptionThe Hamilton House Museum tells the story of Alexander Hamilton and his days on the island of Nevis. You will be able to have access to information that dates back to the 17th century. You will discover papers, history books and documents that he wrote as well as grand collection of old photos of Nevis.
The lovely stone building was built around 1680, but was destroyed in an earthquake in 1840, and then restored in 1983. Its historic value coupled with its beautiful setting on Charlestown harbour overlooking St. Kitts in the distance make it an island treasure and a delightful place to spend an afternoon.
