User reviews for Sunset At The Palms Resort All Inclusive
By Michael from Winnipeg. Canada • Fantastic!!!
Overall Rating: 10 I stayed at Sunset at the Palms for 2 weeks for my honeymoon on Aug.1, 2004- Aug. 15, 2004. In a few words it was amazing. The service and staff are super friendly and will do whatever they can to make you feel welcome and at home. The beach is amazing and probably one of the nicer areas on the beach judging from walking the entire Bloody Bay and Seven Mile Beach. The food was great with lots of s... [more]election and the drinks were tasty. Housing was very rustic with lots of wood and very natural but nice looking. The only thing that some people might not like as much is the level of entertainment. Sunset at the Palms is the perfect resort for those who want a quiet, relaxing holiday and just want to lounge at the beach or pool. If you are looking for a clubs and parties then you will have to leave the resort to find it. The resort does provide a couple of shuttles a week into town and to some different bars and also some bands/singers that perform a quiet set at the bar. Overall, we loved the resort and would love to go back. [less]

Set amidst gardens of trees and flowering plants at the edge of Negril, Sunset At The Palms Resort provides luxurious and serene accommodations. Recently renovated, the resort features a trendy, new design - "natural" open-air wood-structure ambience, and cabins-on-stilts style. Sunset At The Palms Resort has 65 guestrooms in 33 wood cabins. All rooms are decorated in Balinese style. The decoration includes gauzy linens, deep wood furniture and natural fibers. All rooms have spacious quarters and feature king size platform beds, air conditioning, ceiling fans, safes, hair dryers, satellite television, and direct-dial telephones. The modern bathrooms have glassenclosed showers with four body jets and two showerheads. Balconies with Balinese daybeds provide views of flowering gardens, bamboo groves, fruit trees, and royal palms. Sunset At The Palms Resort features an unusual combination of tranquil garden and lively beach sections. The beach section features 75m (82 yds) of fine sand extending 3.25 km (2 mi) around semicircular Bloody Bay, where guests can choose from a wide range of beach activities: skate the sea’s surface in a kayak, skim over the sea on a windsurfer, or snorkel among Negril’s famous arches, caverns, coral gardens and offshore reefs. The garden section includes a freeform pool measuring 30.5m (100 ft) long, a 12-person slate-lined spa tub, a tennis court and a ping-pong table. Gardeners conduct nature walks through the exceptionally varied gardens of Sunset At The Palms Resort. A health spa has one air-conditioned room and an open-air pavilion. The spa offers a wide range of services, such as Jamaican Brown Sugar Scrub, Coconut Oil Massage, nail care, and hair braiding (surcharges for all treatments, services). Sunset At The Palms Resort also has a large, mirror-lined, air-conditioned fitness center with cardio machines, weight machines, and a wooden-floored studio for aerobics classes. Use of lobby computers with high-speed Internet access is part of the All-Inclusive Plan. Three restaurants of Sunset At The Palms Resort offer an array of international favorites and sumptuous buffets. Two bars serve up tropical concoctions, juices and an assortment of beverages. Martini Lobby Bar offers soothing live piano music nightly.
