Spent five days with my sister and a friend. I have mixed feelings about this place. Location was good, you can walk to most attractions. The infrastuction was there but needs to be fine tuned. I had to clean the room myself everyday and had to seek out clean towels(felt like sand paper). It took two hours to get toilet paper after a few calls to the front desk. Forget about the continental breakfast, it was a joke and the coffee came from a machine and was terrible as well as the pineapple juice which came out looking like water. We found a great little restaurant on James Ave called Coco Browns. We ate three meals there and everyone was great. Mostly salads and sandwiches and great home made desserts, great breakfast also. The exterior of the resort was quiant and very clean. That was probably the best aspect of the hotel. My biggest complaint was the slippery floors in the lobby and rooms. It rained 3 days we were there and it became very dangerous walking into the lobby. Also on the balcony outside our room, almost fell quite a few times. Just a few suggestions for anyone staying here: Book all excursions from the front desk and not from anyone on the beach!! The locals will rip you off, we found out the hard way. Use Gary the taxi driver just inside the main gate, he is very trustwothy and fun to talk to. Must do Dunns river falls and the canopy tour, both were great. All in all we had a great time and overlooked the short comings of the place. For the price it was what I expected but I would save a little more money next time and stay at a different place. [less]

You couldnt get closer to the beach if you tried! Fantasic location...white sand, palm trees, balmy breeze, paradise!! From when you arrive you are made very welcome by the friendly staff. The rooms are spotless, spacious and air conditioned with huge beds.
The food was all fresh and delicious and had an amazing variety (curried goat, anyone?), we couldn't have wished for be... [more]tter.
The location is fantastic for sight-seeing from the awesome Dunn's River Falls to Shaw Park Gardens - exploring is a must!
Overall we had a brilliant time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. [less]
