My wife and 5 kids had the time of our lives there, it was a fantastic holiday for everyone. They have children's games, spas, massages and it is so relaxing and takes the stress off of you. Stretched along the northern arm of semicircular, calm-water Bloody Bay, Riu Negril All Inclusive features deluxe guestrooms and unique amenities. Four three-story lavender buildings of the resort include 420 comfortable guestrooms with balconies or ground-floor terraces. Room decor includes pale-yellow walls and mahogany-colored furniture. Terraces and balconies are furnished with chairs and cocktail tables. All rooms feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans, television with European and U.S. cable channels, compact refrigerators, hair dryers, phones, and in-room safes.

The fine sand beach extends along semicircular Bloody Bay, in which the Caribbean Sea remains calm in most weather conditions. Snorkeling gear, pedal boats, kayaks, windsurfers, and Hobie Cat sailboats are supplied. Windsurfing and sailing lessons, parasailing, banana-boating, glass-bottom-boat tours, scuba-diving instruction, and scuba-diving and snorkeling excursions are available for surcharge. Riu Negril Resort has two 36.5-m (120-ft) freeform pools, one with swim-up bar and 25-person jetted section, and a 3.75-m-diameter (12-ft) pool within the children's-club compound. The resort also has two lighted tennis courts. Other recreational activities include a basketball and soccer on an all-purpose court, beach soccer, and beach volleyball. Negril Hills Golf Club is situated 15 km (9.5 mi) away. Supervised all-day children's club and evening children's activities make Riu Negril Resort the perfect place for family vacation with children.

There is an air-conditioned, three-room health-and-beauty spa complex, which includes a couples room, women's and men's saunas, and two 10-person unisex spa tubs on a covered, garden-fringed terrace cooled by ceiling fans. The complex offers nail and hair care, and other health-and-beauty services. Riu Negril Resort has an air-conditioned slot-machine room, which is open 24 hours a day. High-speed Internet access is available at Internet center for surcharge.
