Currently under construction - 2 buildings of a planned four are open. The construction in progress did not effect our enjoyment of the property. Pool and beach were great. You are also able to enjoy the amenities at the two adjacent Marriot properties (Marriott Ocean Club and Marriot Hotel). The realtively new Surf Club still gets aces for its location on the north end of Palm Beach. When I was there, there was still a boat ramp in front of the beach, but I heard this was going to change (and may have already, I don't know). Only a portion of the pool was open due to contstruction, but it was enough. You'd want to spend your time on the beach anyway.

Lushly gardened Marriott Aruba Surf Club is located on the famous Palm Beach offering endless opportunities for fun and pleasure. Crystal sea, silver sand beach, stylish accommodation and impeccable service attract both families and couples. Marriott Aruba Surf Club together with two neighboring resorts, the Marriott Aruba Ocean Club and the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino form the complex resort, complete with turquoise lagoons, waterfalls, swim-up bars, private gardens and a sugary white sand.

Marriott Aruba Surf Club features 168 guestrooms and villas all with balconies overlooking the pool or the Caribbean Sea. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, complimentary Internet access, microwaves and refrigerators, air-conditioning and ceiling fans.

The guests are welcome to a rock garden, a pool with swim up bar, spa tubs, a kids’ pool, tennis and volleyball courts all located on the resort territory. Special picnic area is completed with barbeque grills, which can be used on a complimentary basis by the hotel guests.

Marriott Aruba Resort and Ocean Club offers free access to the large casino and Balinese style Spa, as well as restaurants and bars. Room service is also available from the restaurants.

A water-sports center on the Palm Beach provides water gear for rental, including snorkeling equipment, small sailboats, and kayaks. It also arranges scuba instruction, sea excursions and cruises, wakeboarding, water skiing, tubing, and parasailing. An independent windsurfing center offers rentals and lessons. The resort provides supervised child care.

Marriott Aruba Surf Club is located 8.75 km from downtown Oranjestad and 14.75 km from Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA).
