Beautiful Hotel and everyone is great very helpful I'v been staying there for the past 4 years and I visit Jamaice twice a year and I'm ready to come again this spring. Coludn't have forund a better pllace. You'll love it!!!

This hotel has great potential, beautiful setting, centrally located and the most beautiful seaview. This hotel just need a coat of paint, and just a few other things to make it ace. eg a telephone in the room,
new bedding, a little ice box, a clean mat on the floor and better lighting.

THE SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTLY A JOKE, WOULD NOT RECOMEND TO ANYONE, HOTEL STAFF WAS RUDE AND UNHELPFUL, THEY ALLOW OUTSIDE CITIZENS TO ROME THE GROUNDS OF THE HOTEL, IT IS NOT SAFE BY ANY MEANS, ALWAYS PEOPLE WHO SHOULD NOT BE THERE AROUND, AND THEY HAVE NO BEACH JUST CONCRETE, TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY

Opened in 1948 as Ocho Rios' first waterfront hotel and renovated many times since, Silver Seas Hotel offers casual, quiet vacations in the city. It is conveniently located in the heart of Ocho Rios, within walking distance to shopping, dining, and entertainment and many of the great attractions that this town has to offer. Silver Seas Hotel provides 83 air-conditioned guestrooms in a three-story building. Room decor includes white furniture, tile floors, rattan-like plastic chairs and tables. Large balconies are furnished with chairs and tables, and provide spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea.

Silver Seas Hotel features a terrace pool, overlooking the Caribbean Sea from the top of a 6-meter-high (20-foot-high) bluff buttressed with a stone wall. There is a sand terrace for sunbathing below the bluff. The terrace is surrounded by mango, tropical almond, and other trees. Staircases descend into the sea, which has a sand bottom and coral reefs for snorkeling. The recreational activities include jet skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming and fishing. Windsurfing, sailing and mountain biking are available nearby. Shaw Park Botanical Gardens, with its lush tropical plants, a waterfall, and Caribbean Sea vistas, is situated 2.5 km (1.5 mi) from the Silver Seas Hotel.

The hotel's open-air restaurant offers a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. Jamaican-accented cuisine is complemented by the romantic ambience and stunning sea views. The poolside bar provides live music during the winter high season.
