My wife and I came here on our honeymoon. We flew in to Montego Bay and chartered a small airplane for a romantic, scenic, twenty minute flight to ocho rios. Just the two of us and the pilot. Upon arrival we were greeted with Champagne, red stripe, and a massage. Our room was a beautiful o... [more]ne bedroom cottage with a huge veranda overlooking the caribbean. There are only 45 rooms and most if not all overlook the water. The food was excellent, a new menu every night with live music and dancing. They offer high tea everyday around three which we really enjoyed after a busy day laying on the private beach with maybe two or three other couples. (The beach is very private) There's no tv or radio to distract you so bring some good books. If you forget them though, they have a very nice library with a nice selection of books from all genre's. The activities are very low key; croquet, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, and there's a natural health spa. If you're looking for an abundance of activities and nightlife, this is not the place for you. If you want relaxation, great food, privacy, and quality time with your mate well...come to Jamaica Inn, you won't regret it. We're going back, for sure!
