Couples Swept Away Negril is nestled among ponds, natural foliage, and sand. It is 60 miles from Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. The resort provides 234 guestrooms in nine three-story seafoam-green buildings. All rooms at Couples Swept Away reflect the resort's elegant, eclectic nature. They are decorated with pale-turquoise walls and tile floors, mahogany-stained crown molding, round bronze mirrors, straw floor mats, rattan nightstands, scarlet-cushioned reading chairs, and candle holders on walls. Each room has air conditioning, ceiling fan, private bath/shower, satellite TV, CD player, blow dryer, and safety deposit box. Suites additionally feature private oversized bathroom with double vanity, Jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower. Balconies are furnished with rattan chairs and cocktail tables.

Couples Swept Away Resort has a large freshwater pool with a six-person spa tub at each end. The beach stretches for three km (two miles) around semicircular Bloody Bay. There is a designated nude section, protected by privacy hedges and a fence. Waters within Bloody Bay remain calm in most weather conditions. All popular water sports such as kayaking, water skiing, sailing, windsurfing, and snorkeling are available at Couples Negril. Dive center offers certification courses, night dives, and advanced dives.

The resort has four tennis courts. A certified pro instructor is always on hand to help with technique. Negril Hills Golf Club is located 9 km (6 miles) away. Roundtrip transportation and greens fees are provided for guests of Couples Negril.

Couples Swept Away Negril has an air-conditioned fitness center, featuring cardio machines, weight machines/free weights. Aerobics, yoga, and couples-massage lessons are available. The spa services, including massage, body wraps and scrubs, facials, and reflexology, are offered.
