I have been to jamaica 11 times since 1999 and I have to say that this was the best place I have stayed at yet. We loved the bar tenders and the pool guy jeff. This hotel was wonderful. I had just graduated from college and my friend and I decided to go to Jamaica and stay at Sandcastles with an all-inclusive package. We spent 5 days and 4 nights on the island and it was wonderful! Sandcastles Beach Resort offers spacious accommodations and fabulous location. It is situated in the heart of Ocho Rios' shopping, dining, and nightlife, just steps from the tranquil blue waters of the Caribbean. The resort features direct access to the town's main beach across a narrow street at the resort's rear.

Guest studios and suites of Sandcastles Beach Resort are located in five three-story buildings with interior garden courtyards. All units are decorated in tropical patterns and tile. All of them have air conditioning, small balconies or patios with garden or ocean views, kitchens or kitchenettes, and dining sets. Cable televisions feature U.S. channels. Rooms are available on the All Inclusive and the European plans. The European plan includes accommodations only. Rooms offered on the All Inclusive plan include 3 buffet meals per day, unlimited house brand liquor and soft drinks, taxes, and service charges.

The resort features a free-form swimming pool with a water slide, a semicircular spa tub accommodating 16, a three-foot-deep children's section, and a nine-foot-deep section. Water sports, including jet skiing, sailing, wind surfing and snorkeling, are available on the beach for an extra charge. Complimentary supervised children's activities are provided.

Sandcastles Beach Resort boasts Castles Restaurant, an air-conditioned eatery with open-air terraces on both sides, one overlooking Ocho Rios' main street, the other overlooking the pool. The restaurant offers a la carte dining along with a poolside buffet. Poolside Snack Bar serves a traditional menu of hamburgers, hotdogs, grilled-cheese sandwiches, and ice-cream. Entertainment is provided three nights a week on the pool deck, and a complimentary cocktail reception is offered every Wednesday evening.

Sandcastles Ocho Rios Is Located In The Heart Of Ocho Rios. It Is 1 Hour And 45 Minutes From The Montego Bay Airport. Air Jamaica Express, The Inter-island Airline, Has 2 Flights Per Day Between Montego Bay And Boscobel Airstrip. Arrangements For This Can Be Made. Light Aircraft Charters Are Also Available.
