Well what can i say the Riu Melao was the absolute greatest place i have ever been. The staff always have a smile on thier faces and give you a greeting of "olah" which means hello. the activity staff always keep on your feet and keep a constant change of games or sports. Thier is every thing there that you would ever want to eat, drink, or play. The Aquatic staff can get you out in the sea with b... [more]asicly any non motorised water craft or scuba diving is a optional one but you have to pay for it. And the managers and desk staff work 25 hour a day to make sure you get the most of your vacation. [less]

Went to Melao in Feb 2002, for our Anniversary. LOVED IT!! Beautifully kept. Very clean and well managed. All the people that worked there were very helpful and polite. Always singing. We liked the Rui because you can use the other 4 resorts to get a drink, or see a show or what ever you wanted to do (except at the Palace). We are already planning on going back in Dec. again.
