IT WAS BEAUTIFUL THE STAFF WAS SO NICE AND CARING. IT IS A GREAT PLACE JUST TO GET AWAY AND RELAX. WAKING UP WITH A FRESH TROPICAL FLOWER ON YOUR BED IS A JOY!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BEACHES ARE BEAUTIFUL AND THE FOOD IS TO DIE FOR

The beach was dirty. The service was awful, there was a terrible smell in the room. People at the front desk don't know how treat clients. The personnel don't speak english. Food is average. Lots of mosquitoes.

We stayed for a week during the last week of April / first week of May this year and the weather was terrific everyday. The people were wonderful and very helpful. The food was good with plenty of vaiety. The theme

The Catalonia Bavaro Beach, Golf and Casino Resort is an all inclusive resort located on Bavaro Beach, just ten miles from Punta Cana Airport. This huge, beachfront resort is marvelously landscaped, and it offers its guests a wide variety of amenities eight restaurants, a golf course and a casino.

The Catalonia Bavaro is situated on a sheltered bay, characterized by turquoise waters coconut palms and utter tranquilty. The "Ultra Inclusive" dining options include everything from Japanese Teppanyaki to fine French cuisine, as well as several bars. With everything you need at the resort, there is no reason to leave this tropical paradise on a long, fine, white sand beach.

Guests are accommodated in comfortable and well appointed Junior Suites. These rooms are designed for two occupants but up to three people may be accommodated with additional bedding. The bathrooms feature a large, round bathtub and a separate shower. These rooms have a living area, as well as a private terrace with a hammock and rocking chair. The rooms also come with a refrigerator stocked with soft drinks, hair dryer and a safe deposit box.

The "Ultra Inclusive" rates include all meals, snacks, wine served at lunch and dinner, afternoon tea, unlimited beverages, and mini bar. It also includes a wide variety of non motorized water sports, and a wide variety of land sports and activities, including tennis and a fitness facility. Nightly entertainment and entry to the onsite disco are also included. Fees and expenses for golf and the casino are NOT included. The Catalonia Bavaro Beach, Golf and Casino Resort is a tropical paradise that comes complete with fine dining, recreation and nightly entertainment.
