	nothin-everything was great!!

My family just got back from the Dominican on Friday March 18, 2005 and it was the best family vacation we have EVER had!! It was our first time to Puerta Plata, and the Riu Merengue, so we were a little nervous going in on the vacation but we had an amazing time and can't wait to go back there again!! The sun was VERY hot the whole time we were there, the drinks were always good and cold, alo... [more]ng with them were the amazing bartenders! They were always dancing and smiling making everyone happy, and making it a wonderful atmosphere, if you go look for Ramon!(cutie) Most of all we will NEVER forget the whole Animation Team and how great they are! These people have so little and are always SO greatful for you to be there and to entertain you! Give them a couple dollars now and then...they deserve it!! Big thanks to Mesquito, Scooby, and LuvaLuva!! These guys were great and my family can't wait to go back in December!! BUT...for your own good wash your hands ALL the time, don't drink the water AT ALL, and be careful for what you eat! REMEMBER: it is another country!! [less]

	everthing about this hotel was great

Having gone there in 1999 to get married we loved it so much we went back in 2001 and loved it just as much. We were treated like royalty both for our wedding/honneymoon. Then when we wennt back they did everything they could to help my wife celebrate her bithday. We have just booked to return in oct 05, but I must say we are feeling a bit concerned,

The fact that there is no sitting on a night time, and no dress code.(Don`t get us wrong but is nice to dress up fo dinner then my husband would simply go and put his shorts back on for the rest off the night).

We liked having our own waiter who we thought was great and remembered us the second time we went.

The rooms were fab,food drink gounds, yes it did get very windy on the beach but it kept the heat down. Drinks were fantastic ask for a Tropical pick me up (add vodka) on a night time it`s great.

We went on some great trips, but it looks like they havesome new ones, can`t wait. [less]
