Located in the Playa Dorada complex, the Fun Tropicale Beach Resort resides next to its sister property Fun Royale, where guests can enjoy all of the facilities offered at both hotels. Stay in one and eat in two, this is your advantage of choosing Fun Royale/Fun Tropicale as your vacation destination, the advantage of having more restaurants and bars than an ordinary all inclusive resort. Tropicale is adjacent to a Robert Trent Jones 18 hole championship golf course, just a short 20 minute ride from International Airport General Gregorio Luperón and 5 minutes from the town of Puerto Plata. The resort is just a short walk (500 meters from the beautiful golden beaches of Playa Dorada.

Accommodations in the resort are in 184 standard rooms. All rooms have one queen or two twin beds and most rooms feature a sofa bed in the living room. All rooms feature individually controlled air conditioning, balcony or terrace, color cable television, with pool or garden view and private bathroom with tub and shower. Cribs available upon request. The all inclusive rate includes lodging, all meals and snacks, drinks, alcoholic beverages, non motorized water sports, multi lingual activities program, supervised activities for children aged 4 to 12, nightly entertainment, all taxes, gratuities and much more.
