IT WAS A PEACEFUL HAPPY PLACE. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL IN SUGGESTING PLACES TO SHOP AND TOURS TO TAKE. THEY HAVE THREE RESTURANTS AT THE RESORT BUT I ONLY ATE AT THE BUFFET BECAUSE EVERY NIGHT WAS SOMETHING DELICIOUS AND DIFFERENT. I GIVE THE BUFFET A 10 ON A SCALE OF 1 - 10. THE BEDS IN THE ROOMS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE. THERE IS A SHUTTLE BUS THAT DROPS YO... [more]U OFF TO THE NIGHT CLUBS ON THE STRIP AND PICKS YOU BACK UP. THEY HAVE LIVE BANDS AND DISCO NIGHTS AT THE RESORT. THERE IS PLENTY OF ENTERTAINMENT THERE. IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE THEM. THEY HAVE A MINI GOLF COURSE FOR KIDS AND THEY ARE BUILDING A NEW WATER SLIDE THAT THE KIDS AND THERE PARENTS ARE GOING TO LOVE. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK NEXT YEAR. I ALREADY HAVE RESERVATIONS. IF YOU WANT A GREAT PLACE TO GO VACATION THAT IS NOT TO EXPENSIVE, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. THERE WAS NOTHING ABOUT THIS RESORT THAT I DID NOT LIKE. THAT'S THE HONEST TRUTH. The only dislike I could say would be the snack bar it needs cleaning up a bit its very run down. If you stay at this hotel I would request a garden room they have great views on the first floor. The Sunset Beach Resort and Spa is located four miles from Doctors Cove Beach. The 22 acre resort features wide open spaces, tropical gardens, acres of beach, and all facilities necessary for either relaxing or active family holidays. An immense open air lobby featuring gardens, potted plants, and lily ponds provides a variety of seating and conversation areas and includes oversized couches, overstuffed chairs, and two person rattan lounging beds. The Sunset Beach Resort and Spa offers guests concierge services, 24 hours front desk services, complimentary parking, and full service health spa. To cater to the needs of the business traveler, a full service business center is available. For guests dining needs, the Sunset Beach Resort has three restaurants. The Banana Walk an open air, ocean view restaurant under peaked wood ceiling with fans. Louvered wood shutters. Breakfast, lunch, dinner buffets daily. The Bottocelli is an air conditioned Italian restaurant with slate tile floor, coral colored walls. Meal consisting of antipasti, choices of soups and salads, pasta, and main courses such as roast pork, pan seared snapper, rack of lamb. The Beach Bar and Grill is a casual, open air, oceanfront spot with seating under two large thatched roofs. Snack foods served throughout the day. After a long day of sightseeing or meetings, guests can relax by taking a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool or treat themselves to a pampering massage.

The tastefully appointed guest rooms are furnished with comfort in mind.
