Overall Rating: 10 Location [10] • Room [9] • Service [9] • Value [10] | Everything! | | Swim up pool bar closing at 5pm. |
This was one of the BEST vacations we have ever taken. We are coming back! The staff was fantastic, from the entertainment crew to the bartenders to the serving staff, and on and on and on. We met some of the nicest people that were on vacation as well, and we still keep in touch with many of them. Food was outstanding, drinks were FABULOUS, it was a beautiful resort.
There are gam... [more]es to get involved in during the day and nighttime hours too! My only and I mean only disappointment was the swim up pool bar closing at 5pm, that should be open much later. Spend the money it is well worth it! [less]

Overall Rating: 1 The resort looks nice and is very clean. The liquor and beer were fine too. Now that the compliments are over lets talk about the rest of the place.
The food was very unexciting. In the main dining room the breakfast was the same every morning. Lunch and Dinner in the main dining room varied slightly but not much. The "snack bar" down by the pool served burgers, hot dogs, grilled... [more] cheese and fries. That is all they had. The "upscale" restaurant had a very limited menu and was so unappealing we didn't even eat there.
The main dining room and the snack bar operate around each other. This means if one is open, more than likely the other is not. The "upscale" restaurant opens for dinner only and is very small.
The entertainment was O.K. In the late afternoon 3 guys played instruments and sang. They were good but it was the same guys everyday and the same songs everyday. When the 3 guys stopped singing at 8:30pm, the "Mainstage" Opened. The main stage had the best talent but again the same crew nightly. The theme changed and was pretty good I guess. Once the main stage closed at 10:30 the Glitter Club Disco opened. This was a hole in the wall and the music was so loud, you couldn't speak to anyone.
The staff was a mix of kind to down right nasty. The bartenders were slow no matter how busy it was and if you don't leave them a tip each time, you're going to wait forever. No smiles or friendly vibe from these people at all. The front desk was inept. They would "forget" your wake-up call and never apologize. The Manager was useless in helping when I asked him too. He sat me in his Office and listened to me, but no help at all.
The security guards are not employees of the resort. The resort uses a company called Exmil for its security. We had a major problem with a security issue and were astonished to find out that neither the resort nor the Exmil could give a flip. If you are going to this resort be very careful. A badge does not make one honest is all I am going to say.
I would love to share some pictures but seems our cameras(and everything else of value) are missing, Hmmmmmm !!!!! When I read a review that said to watch your toiletries, trust me it was very accurate. Even used stick deodorant.
This was a week of hell for two 40 year olds and one set of elderly parents. Never Again

Overall Rating: 10 Location [10] • Room [10] • Service [8] • Value [10] This this was the first real vacation that my husband and i have taken in twelve years without the children. Everything was perfect from the service to all the shopping stores. We stayed for a week, but even my husband agreed that a week is not enough time for a vacation like this. There was so much to do and so little time to do it. Believe us you will always have something to do. We are plannin... [more]g to go back. [less]
