My husband's dream was always to stay at Sandy Lane after visiting Barbados on many occasions and getting married there.

For his 50th Birthday I organised a trip to Sandy Lane as a surprise and told him we were staying somewhere else.
His face said it all as we approached the Hotel and once again he said to me we will stay there one day, little did he know.

All I can say is that it was like a dream come true. The Hotel staff were so helpful, the room was a dream, the beach, the food everything about it made us feel so special in every way. The next time we visited Barbados we stayed at another hotel but within two days my husband said to me I don't care about the cost ring sandy lane and see if we can transfer which we did. Once spoilt you can't settle for anything else.

I am so glad that we did visit as it was one of our dreams and unfortunately my husband passed away last year very suddenly but at least we did do it and I can quite honestly say to anyone thinking about it book now it is absolutely superb in every way. [less]
