The Beach Tower at the Atlantis Resort occupies 34 acres on the island which is connected to downtown Nassau by bridge. First, a bit of history: originally in the 1960s the Atlantis Resort was a casino. Today it is a popular family vacation destination, featuring the world's largest tropical marine habitat, home to 50,000 fish and sea animals.

Its several towers resemble the mythical Lost Continent of Atlantis! The nine-story Beach Tower is the resort's first tower. It also provides the most tranquil and peaceful setting. Enjoy its tropical atmosphere, a wealth of flowers and greenery, and a huge skylight over the lobby. Atlantis Paradise Island offers 423 guestrooms, all with furnished balconies. Each room has tropical decor, pale-peach walls, light-colored furniture, and blue and gold fabrics with a seashell motif. A few steps and here you are, right at the lovely beach.

Restaurants are located at Beach Towers and features Seagrapes, a casual spot decorated with masks from Bahamas' annual Mardi Gras-style Junkanoo parade. The Seagrapes Circus entertains each weekend and the restaurant serves all meals daily, including a Kids Korner menu. There is a wealth of other restaurants including the Cave Bar and Grill, an open-air lunch spot featuring underwater views of marine life; and the Beach Tower Lobby Lounge, with everything from coffee to cocktails.

The Beach Towers contains Club Rush teen center, Joker's Wild Comedy Club, and a theater where our guests may see famous and beloved movies. Near the tower are the Lazy River Ride, River Pool, and Poseidon's Kid's Pool. If you are interested in exotic flora and fauna you are welcome to the marine-life exhibits Hibiscus Lagoon, Seagrapes Lagoon and viewing tunnel, and Stingray Lagoon. That is really cognitive and fascinating!

Very close by you may enjoy various water amusements at Goombay Water Slide & Baths, a long slide and a series of spas cut into an artificial-rock formation.

Those are not all the Atlantis Resort amenities. In the other two additional towers located a 50,000- square-foot casino, 11,500 square-foot spa, Discovery Kids Camp, shopping malls and a private golf course.

Getting There: There Is No Regular Shuttle Service From The Airport So The Easiest Way To Get To The Hotel Is By Taxi.
