If yur vacationing , honeymooning ,relaxing or traveling on a business trip and will be in the kingston area this would be the ideal hotel for you near the business areas and internet caffee's..if you feel to unwind later on the night clubs and fast food restaurants are just within walikng distance ......

I have stayed here a dozen times in the past two years. This hotel is a bit outdated, with rooms being inconsistent--some alarm clocks don't work, tv and high speed internet service are spotty at best, and housekeeping can be a gamble, too--never quite sure if you'll get a washcloth or how many towels, soap or shamppo will appear. That said, they have a marvelsous breakfast buffet, and the entire staff is wonderful to work with--at the front desk, the bell stand and the food and beverage staff are remarkably friendly and efficient. They also have a beautiful pool and grounds.

I loved thisi hotel it showed alot of class and it is so beautiful i love it. the food was so good and delicious hopefully when we go back it is as wonderful.

Not only was the room WAY overpriced, it was very dirty and poorly maintained. I've lived in Jamaica for nearly 6 years and stayed in hotels and villas throughout the island. On my first stay at the Pegasus 2 months ago, I chose the hotel because I wanted a "nice" room for my girlfriend who was staying over. The lobby and pool were beautiful and I expected the room to be clean and in good repair also. We found the bed linens and pillowcases were filthy. They appeared to not have been changed from the previous guests. We also found hair (not our own) in the bath. Not a pleasant experience.

I decided to give the hotel another chance a couple of weeks ago. There are cheaper hotels in Kingston, but I was tired and had business nearby the next morning and again, wanted something "nice." This room (on the 11th floor) was much worse than before. I picked up the room service menu and a roach jumped out of it. I smashed the roach with the room service menu (the closest thing at hand) and that took care of the bug and my appetite too. Then I noticed the worn carpeting had several more dead bugs in it. The blanket on the bed (which was old and worn) had even more bugs imbedded in it (pardon the pun). As I inspected the room I noticed a puddle of massage oil or something left over on the dresser and empty candy wrappers and trash from the previous guest. That did it - I couldn't spend the night in that room. They relocated me to the 12th floor and the room was slightly better but had no cable television and the sliding glass door to the balcony was jammed shut. By the time they got the balcony door open (2 hours later) I discovered there was no furniture out there anyway.

Morgan's Harbour hotel in Port Royal has just remodeled. Next time I'll stay there for half the price.

P.S. Management never contacted me about the numerous problems as they promised they would.

You need to get ready and take out that money.This hotel is nice but too expencive.
