I spent a week at Club St. Croix with my 76 year old mother. We had a great time!
There is plenty to do at the resort and we did not even need to rent a car. I enjoyed snorkeling in the Caribbean and swimming in the lap pool. We also spent time in the attached hot tub. It seemed like the beach and pool were our private facilities. The grounds at Club St Croix are very well maintaine... [more]d and beautifully landscaped. Pergolas and Palm trees on the beach with plenty of lawn chairs. We stayed in a 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit with full kitchen and living room with a hide-a-bed. We had a great time preparing our own meals in the full kitchen and enjoyed dining on our Gallery with a view of Buck Island. There is a fantastic restaurant called Breezez right on the property and we enjoyed lunches and dinners poolside viewing the beautiful Caribbean Sea. We visited the town of Christiansted via taxi and had a great time!
The trip to and from St Croix was fairly easy since they have a direct flight from Atlanta on Wednesdays. We were in St Croix within 7 hours of leaving our home(practically unheard of for a trip from Pensacola to the Caribbean).
My husband and I have visited the island of St Croix before, we have always had a great time. The SCUBA diving there is always rewarding. I intend to bring him to Club St. Croix next time so that I can share the wonderful facility with him. [less]
