We went to the Wyndham Rose Hall in May 2004. My best friend an I just wanted to get away and lay on a beach for a week and man did we pick the right resort to do it at. The pool is wonderfully relaxing especially during the hot part of the day. The beach was nice and clean and they had waiters/waitresses bring out fresh fruit to the people who were on the beach. We also had a massage while laying in a cabana on the beach front. We had heard stories of single women having problems in Jamaica before we left on our trip and I would have to say while on the resort we always felt very secure. We have said that we will go back and not do any sigtseeing next time, just spend the entire time at the resort! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We went on a "family" vacation over Easter with another family. There were 9 of us. We had a wonderful time. This was our first tropical vacation, and we had an excellent time!!! The service was very good, the food was great...if you couldn't find something to like than stay home and "cook"!! These people do a really hard job! The ocean was really beautiful, the pool areas were very relaxing. The only bad comment is the rooms, they definetely need some remodeling! We were told this is happening in the future. I thought the 2 extra restaurants in the all-inclusive package were outstanding. We would defenitely go back someday. We have many wonderful memories. We stayed 10 days with kids ages 17, 16, 14, 10--no one was ever board. If you are looking for some R and R this place will do it....oh and the outdoor massages are paradise!!!!

Ditto to all the other comments. I loved it. But why is it that the conceirge staff are so sneaky? They are getting paid by terrible/expensive restaurants to recommend them, so the guests have no clue until they get there and the food sucks!! I read another posts on here like that and it seems to be the common practice. Research the restaurants before you get there and don't let them tell you where to go. I agree Tapas was great.

Rose Hall was perfect! After reading a couple reviews, I was a little worried it wouldn't meet our expectations but it surpassed everything we had hoped for. There was no need to ever leave the resort, if we didn't want to. They have all kinds of activities and entertainment. There was always something new and fun to do. The food was great, with everything you could imagine to eat. No matter what setting you wanted, it was available. You could grab a quick burger, sit down and have the most wonderful, romantic dinner or anything in between. You definitely want to upgrade to the all-inclusive. The food is extremely expensive but managable with the all-inclusive. It's not just Rose Hall that's expensive. The first night we ate on the Hip Strip and our dinner was more than the all-inclusive would have cost us for that day. The staff was wonderful! We've never seen so many happy people, in one place. I wish I was as excited to go to work every day, as they seem to be! We got married, on the resort, and the Rose Hall staff handled everything. All we had to do was show up! It was a perfect wedding and the pictures are the most beautiful pictures we've ever seen. The staff, food, room, view, activities, EVERYTHING was great! We couldn't have asked for it to be more perfect!

The warmth and friendliness of the people of Jamaica is clearly apparent as soon as you step on the hotel bus and continue all the way to checkout. The hotel itself is absolute paradise with its beautiful decor, excellent restaurants, clean and comfortable rooms, pool side bar, hidden hot tubs, maze like water slides, lazy river, pristine beach, and relaxing spa. A definite must stay if visiting Montego Bay, Jamaica.

There are things in life that we all need to feel a certain level of comfort. Well look no further because it all lies behind the walls of this hotel. No matter your age there is something for everyone here. Although the rooms might not be very big, upon check-in they will ask if you need any personal touches to make the room your very own and the most comfortable and relaxing expeience ever.
But not only is the environment friendly and inviting but so is the service. Whether its the concierge desk or the nice waiter asking you to dance at the resort nite club they all possess a sudden charm to make you feel at home.
When it comes to food no matter what your taste buds have in mind there is always something to satisfy your appetite. With four gourmet restaurants on site, an italian pub, and a buffet with a different theme every night. Eating might be the hardest decision you have to make during your stay.
So no matter what you have in mind for vacation whether its recieving a beach front massage or swimming up to the bar and ordering a drink, and if your a kid or just a kid at heart the resort waterpark might be just the thing to make this hotel your gateway to heaven. Cause as they say in Jamaica at this hotel Everyting is Irie.
(Everything is Alright)

Very Family Oriented

None

Excellent Family Oriented Resort. The food was excellent as was the service at the restaurants and poolside food shack. The staff was very friendly and helpful with kids. Beach was clean and relaxing, however if you like to snorkel it's not the best beach for that.

I would recommend to anyone without qualification.

Fantastic Waterpark and Beach.

The evening entertainment.

The Wyndham Rose Hall Jamaica is the best holiday I have ever been on and would gladly go again. The staff were incredibly friendly and if you required something they would do it for you. The Evening entertainment left a little to be desired as the bingo and magic tricks did not suit all. The Waterpark was amazing with a lazy river and slides, and for parents a wonderful swim up bar is located at the poolside. There are different restaurants and a buffet which has a specific theme nightly. The hotel rooms were cleaned daily and the views were amazing. The Wyndham catered for all your needs and fact the beach was right on your doorstep was great, you could walk up and down the caribbean beach for hours. The Watersports available were sailing, kiaking, and more. However if you get a chance to visit Dunns river or Dolphins cove its definatly worth it and book through the hotel, its so easy and the Wyndham rose is a Fantastic Resort for all ages.

By Chris from Boston, Ma • Great place to be mon!

Overall Rating: 10

This place is great, but stay away if you don't like kids. It has a family atmosphere. Plus, the all-inclusive is a bit less than that. No golf included, few activities, and if you want the best menu selection be ready to ante up. But the food is great and the golf course amazing. Our four nights were not enough. My wife and I went in Sept 2003, but I am just getting around to writing this because I went back and didn't stay here. I regret it a little.

Hi! My husband and I went to The *Wyndham Rose Hall Golf & Beach Resort* (All Inclusive) for our Honeymoon June 2001. I had just had a car accident and thought it would be just a miserable time for us, but the Lazy river, all the wonderful Food, the Staff, the way the whole property was set up was just like Paradise! The Rooms were so much nicer than I expected! Wow! Beautifuly Decorated in an Island theme, AIR CONDITIONED which I hear is very hard to find hotels where they actually work. HUGE rooms! Gorgeous Views! VERY CLEAN!!!!! I really can't say enough. I can't imagine anyone having anything bad to say about this resort. Oh I almost forgot. The breakfast in the morning is to die for. We had a Cook Named *Sean* That cooked Made to order Omletes while you waited and the buffet had anything you can imagine. The Staff was so professional, funny, and helpful. Honestly, If we had the money we would come back twice a year and stay a month. I rarely write about places or items I like, but this Resort Blew us away! Everyone Has to try it atleast once in their lifetime. 5 STARS from US here in Upper Michigan!
